There are other great coaches who aren't working at the moment.

Franz Beckenbauer or Johan Cruyff would be brilliant and have great experience.
Graeme Souness has won trophies all over Europe perhaps we could give him a call.

Given the club lost money last year, bringing in extra coaches just because they are out of work might not be a good idea. It's not about personality and if we had a vacancy MC probably would be a decent candidate. The reality is that we don't have a vacancy and probably can't afford to create one. From the Q&A we know that the football budget is effectively the same as last year and bringing in another coach would leech money from it. Money that would be better spent on a centre half or a midfielder.

I'd also be concerned about the signal it would send to the other coaches.
