Agreed, no cash cows there as such. But the workmanlike nature of these leaves me feeling positive that we are going full tilt for promotion this season, as I’m sure consolidation could still have been achieved with a few marque fixtures.

And also, being fanciful for a second, maybe there are capacity-related reasons why we are not getting any crowd pleasers in? Thoughts?

Well no, as you could in theory make any fixture all-ticket such as the Sheff Utd one last season, and get round any capacity issues that way

What I mean is, what’s the point in having a big club that could be a money spinner if capacity has been temporarily reduced to 1000 for example for ground improvement work?
