Okay, the Prediction League is back! Sponsored by Armchairdog Spreadsheets Ltd.

No entry fee, no prize money. For bragging rights only.

Here’s the rules- all you need to do is reply to the Prediction League thread on here by 2:45 for a 3pm kick off, and 7:30 for a 7:45 kick off with your prediction for the score and attendance. Predictions that aren’t on the Prediction League Thread won’t count.

Here’s how it’s scored:

Correct Result: 2 points
Correct Team Goals: 2 points per team
Attendance spot on: 4 points
Attendance within 50: 2 points
Attendance within 100: 1 point

So the maximum points available per match is 10 (for correct score (2+2+2)) and for predicting exact attendance 4.

I’ll do the league tables as regularly as I can.

Well done Armchair. Can I just make a suggestion before we get started. Surely the exact attendance is worth more than 4. It’s nearly impossible - well apart from I have done it a couple of times. :)

I don’t know. I take your point but I’ve always thought it’s got to be a bit of a fluke to get it spot on.
